This course follows on from the Mastering or Intermediate course. It provides a comprehensive assessment of the advanced functions (such as advanced remote database access, advanced attribute expressions and formatting, desctiptive joining relationships, advanced spatial data analysis, advanced Thematic Mapping, label expressions, Redistricting and advanced map and tabular editing. Advanced functions for working with spatial features are also explored, such as geographic data management (joins) and distance calculations and management.
Note that although the section titles are the same as for the Advanced Guide to MapInfo 9.0 course, this 9.5 course has been fully upgraded to incorporate the new functions included in the MapInfo Professional software at version 9.5. This course also outlines the enhancements to the MapInfo software for the 9.5.1 patch.

Once a user has completed the course, they can download the optional Course Assessment to prove their new proficiency with MapInfo and receive their certificate.
