Editing with MapInfo 12.5

Data capture and editing is an incredibly important aspect of using GIS software.
Nothing can be achieved without data. But any maps, analysis and result can only be as accurate as the data that they are based upon. Therefore a key consideration is to use accurate data.
MapInfo offers a range of data capture and editing functions to support this, which is what this course is entirely focused upon. Data can be captured from scratch and modified to accommodate map and tabular (attribute) changes.
It is important to ensure that data is clean. If it is not, this can have significant knock on effects in data analysis and any derived results. Hence a key focus of this course is to outline best practice methods for data capture and editing.
This course is suitable for users who have completed the Beginners course or have previous experience of the MapInfo software
