The focus of this training course is the National Trust's GIS Browser.
The GIS Browser is a bespoke application that provides access to a large range of National Trust data. This data can be displayed and interrogated through the use of a number of tools. Output can be produced as maps and images.
This course provides an introduction to the discipline of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) and outlines the range of functions provided by the GIS Browser application.
This course is a mix of video presentations together with hands-on exercises using the GIS Browser.
